They Day that Never Ends Part 3

Three years ago I sat down to plan a few fun events to go along with our regular summer programming. How about a trip to the water park? Sounds fun. Chuck E. Cheese? They'll love it. How about a camp out? Movie night? Sounds like a blast. A formal spaghetti dinner? I think the kids will enjoy it. How about a pancake breakfast, complete with chocolate chips, blueberries and Mickey Mouse? I thought those were great ideas. How about we do it all on the same day? That sounds like it would kill me, I thought to myself, that would truly be a day that never ends. And at that moment, one of the craziest events I've ever conceived was born, the day that never ends. It's bad enough that we did it once, but this week, we did it for the third time! In the words of the great Pastor Michael Postlethwait, "I've never even heard of anything like that."

Missionette Sleepover 2010

We would like to thank Katie Kennemer, Michelle Paulson, Emma Mather and Kayla Keller for planning a fantastic sleepover this year. The girls enjoyed hair, nails, paparazi, a show, and a formal dinner. Thank you girls for your creativity and hard work! Our sleepover theme this year was called to stardom. We are excited about the promise in each one of these young ladies, who are indeed to called to stardom, to live lives dedicated to our Lord Jesus Christ, and to lead many to righteousness. I do not want to forget to thank our wonderful Missionette teachers who selflessly give each Wednesday, and gave up a good nights sleep to make our girls feel special. Thank you Nancy, Emilie and Claire. And of course, thanks to our high powered paparazi, Michelle Berglind.

Cheto and the Beanpole

An original story stolen from a classic story. This is Cheto's take on Jack and the Beanstalk. In this modern retelling, Cheto sells his mothers clock that looks like a cow to Ernie the fence for five Mexican jumping beans. He was supposed to sell them for money to buy Menudo. Cheto learns that God has not given us a spirit of fear as he meets the kindly giant at the top of the tree that sprung up after the beans jumped out of his hands. Michelle Paulson makes her debut as the voice of reason.

Kids Camp Rules

I am finally able to upload videos again.  For some reason, this blog did not like the Camp Drama videos.  They had several special effects, which probably made them too large.  This is a video of the Camp Rules made by Emma, Katie, and Michelle.
